During the first six months of 2022, Da nang has attained an impressive regional economic growth rate (GRDP), of 7.23% and meanwhile, Quang Nam GRDP increased by 12.8%.
Along with that, tourism in these provinces and cities has also restored and promoted vigorously as compared to the same period of last year. Visitor statistics in 2022 showed that the tourism industry in Da Nang and Quang Nam has shown solidly recovery signs after a heavily long-affected time by the epidemic. This is also a positive noteworthy for the two destinations - Da Nang and Quang Nam, towards opening up golden opportunities in attracting tourists in the near future.
Particularly in Quang Nam and Da Nang, upon ensuring safety and satisfying all visitors demand in the best way, the two localities will apply technology to manage and encourage tours and routes in the "green zone", helping to improve service quality at hotels and resorts.
So far, Da Nang has been the downtown with many direct international flights, connected to eminent touristry cities such as Macau, Hong Kong, Seoul, Shanghai, etc. The city promises to be a cosmopolitan attraction after the pandemic, thanks to the air connections for all countries around the world. In the coming time, Quang Nam government will be continuing planning to shift Chu Lai airport with a scale of 2,300 hectares into an international airport, aiming to gain 4E standards and achieve 4F airport scale guidelines with a capacity to serve 50 million passengers per year.
The real estate market has returned to the track
Not only being an engaging touristry metropolitan, Da Nang - Quang Nam is also a meeting point for waves of back-up investment. Paving the way for future, Eastern regions of Quang Nam will be the driving force for the provincial development; of which a diverse ecosystem of culture, synchronous infrastructure, trading, services and tourism will be developed parallelly with science and technology. The aces of Quang Nam are a pristine, graceful and alluring coastline of 125km with shiny white sand beaches. Quang Nam owns three foreign direct expenditure programs, bringing total FDI venture to 195, with a total investment capital of more than 6 billion USD; along with 29 domestic investment projects, driving the total venture to 940 projects and total registered capital of nearly 240 trillion VND. Similarly, Da Nang has 17 domestic asset plans with a total capital of 5,804 billion VND, and 21 FDI projects with a total registered capital of more than 67 million USD.
Subsequently, in the period of 2022 - 2025, Da Nang and Quang Nam will attract a series of large-scale civil, touristry and industrial park schemes. These strategies are expected to fascinate attentions of big businesses in the fields of tourism - industry and real estate, thus opening up golden opportunities for venture capitalists, who are looking for long-term settlement opportunities. In the long run, contributing to promoting the figure of Da Nang and Quang Nam as a secure travel destination and an attractive “glowing” investment point in Central Vietnam, towards glorifying with its inherent potential and privileges.
